Secret Shredder is designed to use as little personal information as possible. We collect only the information needed to run the site, process payments, manage email signups, and keep the service operating.
What we collect
- Email addresses and any optional note you submit when you sign up for updates.
- Basic technical data needed to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
- Stripe checkout session details needed to confirm whether a paid shred was completed.
How payments work
Payments and receipts are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card details on Secret Shredder. We may receive limited checkout information from Stripe, such as session status, payment status, and reference metadata needed to unlock the paid shred.
Email updates and marketing
If you sign up for updates, your details may be stored and managed through Brevo so we can send launch notes, product updates, and occasional marketing emails about Secret Shredder. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
What not to submit
Do not put real names, contact details, threats, identifying information, or sensitive personal data into the machine or signup forms. Secret Shredder is for harmless cringe and low-stakes regret, not personal data dumps.
Providers we use
We may use trusted providers including Cloudflare for hosting, Stripe for payments and receipts, and Brevo for email signup and marketing communications.

If the product or the way we handle data changes, we may update this page.
